ND-Series Tubular Commercial Heavy Duty Vandlgard Keyed Entry Door Lever Set Less Interchangeable Core (Core Options Provided)
This lock can always be opened with a key from the outside and has two locking levels on the inside. By turning and pushing the interior button this knob set will remain locked until it is unlocked with a key or manually unlocked on the inside. If the button is only pushed to lock it will be unlocked when the lever is turned as well as using the key.
Vandlgard™ is designed to disengage the outside spindle from the latch when in the locked position. The locked outside lever freely rotates up and down while remaining securely locked. The free-wheeling lever eliminates the ability to exert excessive force or to stand on the lever, preventing damage to internal lock components.
ND-Series locks are for commercial, institutional and industrial use, such as schools, hospitals and factories, where a long life of dependable operation must be combined with a high degree of resistance to physical abuse.
