SilentShield: This sound-absorption system, found in many Kohler sinks, significantly reduces the noise from clanging dishes and silverware, as well as undesirable noise caused by running water and garbage disposals.
Apron Front: Kohler apron front sinks have a stylish panel in front and are available in both drop-in (also called tile-in) and undermount configurations. Sometimes called a “farmhouse sink”, this beautiful style evokes the charm of a traditional kitchen and can be installed with only minor modifications to existing kitchen cabinetry and countertops.
Self-Trimming: A style of apron front sink design in which the apron overlaps a portion of the existing kitchen cabinetry. This allows the installation of an apron front sink with only minor countertop modification.
Smart Divide: In a multiple basin sink with Smart Divide design, the basin divider is set to a lower height than the perimeter of the sink. This offers both the convenience of a single basin sink completely filled and the versatile functionality of a multiple basin sink. The lower divider also allows more room for filling and cleaning larger pots and pans.
