Latch Bolt Monitoring / Request to Exit Electric Latch Switch Kit for 33AEO / 35AEO Series 4′ Exit Device

The LX (latch bolt monitoring) signal switch monitors both egress and access of an opening. These devices are equipped with an internal SPDT (single-pole, double-throw) switch which monitors the latch bolt position. The LX device can be connected to a security console or may be used as a single-door alarm, when used with a horn and power supply. A continuous current electric transfer must be used for transferring power from the frame to the door.

The RX (request to exit) signal switch feature is used to signal the use of an opening from the push side. These devices are equipped with an internal SPDT (single-pole, double- throw) switch which monitors the touchbar. The RX device can be connected to a security console or may be used as a single-door alarm, when used with a horn and power supply. A continuous current electric transfer must be used for transferring power from the frame to the door.
