This 1 1/4 by 1″ lead free dual check valve prevents the reverse flow of polluted water from entering into the drinking water supply at the service entrance or at individual outlets. It consists of a lead free bronze body with two plastic replaceable check valves, stainless steel springs, and 1 1/4″ female meter thread swivel inlet by 1″ NPT female threaded union outlet. This valve is designed for non-health hazard residential water system containment, continuous pressure applications. It is installed immediately downstream of the residential water meter, in a vertical or horizontal position. Minimum working pressure is 10 PSI (69 kPa). Maximum working pressure is 150 PSI (10 BAR).
