Emtek Bronze Round Knob Dummy Door Knob

The Bronze Round Knob’s dummy set includes both the interior and exterior knob. These dummy sets are surface mounted, and do not include a latch or strike plate as they are used as a pull only. Dummy sets are typically used on double door situations where the dummy set will be used on the inactive door.

Like all of Emtek’s Rustic Modern Collection, the Round Knob is cast from molten bronze one piece at a time into authentic rustic designs. The Round Knob’s patina finishes are achieved using the traditional techniques of bronze sculptors. With pitted surfaces and hand-finished patinas, these uniquely American designs resonate a calm strength. The Round Knob’s handles are supported by springs mounted behind the rosettes and sideplates, which return the handles back to the rest position, preventing sag. The latches are heavy-duty die cast construction, with strong internal springs, solid brass nose bolts, and sintered metal cams. A plastic bushing located in the joint between the handle and the rosette ensures a friction-free wear surface, preventing metal from bearing on metal and providing smooth, long-lasting operation. Handles are positively connected to rosettes with a permanent clip. Each has a set screw which eliminates “handle wobble” when tightened. Emtek’s threaded tubes are machined brass to ensure good threads and prevent corrosion.
