Passage Function: Passage door hardware has no locking mechanism. Both the interior and exterior handles are always free making it perfect for hallways, closet doors, and anywhere else a lock isn’t needed. Passage door hardware can also be used in conjunction with a deadbolt to secure a back door or entrance.

Solid Brass Construction: This product begins with raw bars of solid brass which are heated, and pounded into specially made dies—producing a stronger, more substantial product. The difference between lesser metals and heat forged brass is noticeable the minute you hold it in your hands—solid brass is heavier, smoother, and naturally resists corrosion.
CF Mechanism: Emtek’s proprietary CF Mechanism design incorporates a unique chassis design that significantly shortens the rotation and creates a more crisp and ergonomic function. This 28° latch mechanism comes standard with all units equipped with the CF Mechanism, affording a superior and robust operation.
Concealed Screws: Emtek knobs and levers that feature the CF Mechanism install cleanly on both the interior and exterior of the door, completely concealing all screws required for the installation. All you’ll ever see is the door and the hardware you’ve chosen for it—both seamlessly co-existing.
