This solid brass window lock 2-9/16″ x 15/16″ base and 2-9/16″ x 5/8″ strike plate will keep any pull down window secure. The sturdy strike plate is a small metal plate that skirts the latch, engaging both the window itself, and the lock. A slight bevel on the strike allows the latch to engage the window-frame with terrific ease.
