4″ Type BW Gas Vent Hold-Down Base Plate from the OV Collection

The Type BW hold-down plate is required for connecting Type BW vent to a wall furnace outlet.

The RV series offers round gas vent pipe and fittings for residential, commercial and industrial applications. It features a snap together, non-positional lock system, die formed ends, and eliminates the need for all cutting, fitting and special engineering. It has an improved joint design provides for a rapid and secure connection in seconds. The use of our “LockTab®” feature gives installers the option of engaging this tab instead of using sheet metal screws, when required by local code. The OV series offers oval gas vent pipe and fittings and can be used for Type B, Type B 2×4, Type BW and Type B 2×6 depending on the pipe size. It features a snap together die formed ends, and is UL 441 listed. Note: Special factory supplied parts are required to use 4″ OV as Type BW vent.
