8″ Flat Ceiling Support Kit for 0/12 to 2/12 Pitch Roof from Sure-Temp

Provides the support package and termination parts for a chimney that is supported by a flat ceiling and passes through an attic area and penetrates a 2/12 to 6/12 pitch roof. Just add Pipe Lengths and, the Flat Ceiling Support Kit (FCK) has all necessary parts for complete installation. However, depending upon your roof design and the position of your chimney on the roof, it may be necessary to install a Roof Brace Kit to provide required support for your chimney above the roof.

An Attic Insulation Shield is a required part of the installation even if you have no insulation in the area where your chimney passes through the attic. The only exception to this AIS installation is if you install a full enclosure around the chimney in the attic area at the minimum two inch clearance.

The Sure-Temp Chimney System is designed to meet the needs of today’s high-efficiency Wood Stoves and other appliances burning wood, oil or gas. Components may be combined in a wide variety of ways to solve almost any chimney installation requirement.
