DoloMatte begins as a thick, American-made solid-surface slab of specialty polymer blended with ground minerals that is consistent in color and property
After a preparation process, it is thermoformed with a mold, and the back is reinforced with a thick layer of fiberglass, resin and titanium. The backing adds strength, structural integrity and increased insulation. And it also helps keep bath water warm. The product is then hand finished
The surface is non-porous, durable and impact/shock-resistant
