ND-Series Tubular Commercial Heavy Duty Vandlgard Keyed Vestibule Door Lever Set Less Interchangeable Core (Core Options Provided)
This lock is opened by a key from the outside when it has been locked by a key on the inside. The inside lever is always unlocked.
Vandlgard™ is designed to disengage the outside spindle from the latch when in the locked position. The locked outside lever freely rotates up and down while remaining securely locked. The free-wheeling lever eliminates the ability to exert excessive force or to stand on the lever, preventing damage to internal lock components.
ND-Series locks are for commercial, institutional and industrial use, such as schools, hospitals and factories, where a long life of dependable operation must be combined with a high degree of resistance to physical abuse.
