The single piggyback variable level float switch (VLFS) allows you to convert a 230 V nonautomatic pump into an automatic pump. Additionally, the piggyback float switch allows you to adjust the on and off points within the tank. This is ideal for deeper basins and pump tanks. The piggyback float switch is constructed of PVC and polypropylene. The materials of construction ensure that the switch is able to withstand a harsh wastewater environment. The standard cord length is 15′ which is more than enough for most basin or pump tank applications. It is also a normally open mechanical float, so it can be used to pump the level down in a pit or tank. This particular float can be paired with a wide range of our nonautomatic pump models of 15 Amps or less.
